System Administrator at BDX

Do you want a central role in an organization where the systems are business-critical and where you can combine technology, business understanding, and project management? We are now looking for a System Administrator who wants to help develop, operate, and manage our group-wide systems.

About the Role

As a System Administrator, you are responsible for ensuring that our systems function stably, efficiently, and in line with the needs of the business. You work closely with both the business, IT, and system suppliers and are an important link between technology and users.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing, operating, and managing the group's systems
• Troubleshooting and resolving incidents as well as proactively working to prevent problems
• Training users in the systems and developing training materials, documentation, and procedures
• Ensuring that the systems are used in a uniform, efficient, and reliable manner
• Working with integrations between various operational and business systems
• Handling technical issues related to e.g., EDI, databases, servers, etc.
• Participating in and driving projects, such as system improvements, upgrades, and implementations
• Investigations, requirements specifications, planning, testing, and verification of functions developed by our system suppliers.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Several years of experience in system administration, system operations, or a similar role
• Experience in finance and working with financial systems is an advantage
• Education in computer science/system administration or equivalent work experience
• Good technical understanding and experience in troubleshooting
• Experience with integrations between systems
• Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing and create clear documentation
• Experience or interest in project management
• Driver's license B is required. Since BDX operates in a large area, mainly within Norrbotten and Västerbotten, the job will involve travel.
